About

Kim’s Garden

Started in 2015 as a couple of seeds in pots, it has grown into a backyard garden about two acres in size. Restarted in 2017 after Hurricane Maria wiped out most of the trees.

Most of the trees are grown from seeds, and seeds don’t always grow true to type. The names of the varieties come from the source of the plants, or are descriptions based on the fruit until they can be better identified.

Located in Humacao, Puerto Rico, USDA hardiness zone 13a, about 100 feet above sea level.
